Difficult

The font on the pattern is too small to read easily.  Also, the cutting directions are difficult to understand (perhaps since I haven't used this pattern company before this).I do like the look of the pictured finished product.

Favorite

I've been eyeing this pattern for a while and keep seeing  beautiful quilts made with it on YouTube so I had to finally get it. It's definitely a favorite!

Windows into memorable places

I see the Byzantine Door more as a window with its gridlines.  My plan is to separate a large panel and cut the pieces to fit each window grid.  When it's assembled, it will be just like looking through a window to my favorite place.
