Fall Gnome Dash
It had been a long time since I made any quilts. Even at that the quilt I made was just a wall hanging. These patterns, books and videos make it look so easy. I had to try one. I make the "Dash" quilt. The fabric I chose was some I got cheap at Walmart and Joann Fabric and Crafts.My co-worker loves gnomes and she is always cold. We do come into the office 1 to 2 am (before the heat comes on). At Walmart I found some orange fabic with black dots and some black fabric with orange dots. The orange was the #1 fabric, the black with orange dots was the #2 fabric. The #3 Fabric had a bright orange background with gnomes dressed as witches flying on a broom.My co-worker loved it so much she said, "It is too nice for here". She is planning on taking the qult home and using it to curl up on her couch. Then for Halloween she plans on sitting on her back deck with it on her lap while she hads out candy. I wish I could add a photo of it.
