Additional yardage can be the perfect way to enlarge your lap-size quilts by adding extra borders or blocks from your quilt pattern. For a twin-size quilt top, we recommend 6 yards of fabric, and for a queen/king-size quilt top, we recommend 12 yards of fabric.
