"Stepping Up" is my first 3 yd quilt, and I will make more! The YouTube tutorial was very helpful, and I'm amazed how Donna and Fran design and put all these fabulous quilts together. A bit of feedback on the "economy binding" using 1.25" strips of fabric - being used to cutting 2.5" strips for binding, I had trouble handling the more narrow strips. I wanted to try it because it's great to have options, and I wanted to see how a narrow strip of fabric could bind a quilt. It does indeed work, and I marvel at how they came up with this option. However, it took me longer and was more challenging maneuvering these narrow strips. For me and my older hands, 2.5" is a better option even though it requires a little more fabric. Thank you, Donna and Fran for creating such fun and fast quilts!
