  • Three one-yard cuts of coordinating fabric.
  • One-yard cut of 6" panel blocks, and two one-yard cuts of coordinating fabrics.

Finished Size: 43 x 52 inches (109.22 x 132.08 cm). This pattern will make a single lap-size quilt.

Vintage 3-Yard Quilt Pattern

You can use this pattern with either three one-yard cuts of fabric, or one yard of 6" panel blocks, and two one-yard cuts of coordinating fabrics. The pattern includes an assembly diagram and step-by-step directions that make your cutting and piecing a breeze!

Materials Needed:

  • Quilt Top: 3, 1 yard cuts of fabric.
  • Backing Fabric: 3 yards of coordinating fabric.
  • Twin-size batting.
  • Thread to match fabric.

Fantastic

I absolutely love the panel and yardage. I couldn’t have asked of a more suitable fabric to make a friend a quilt. Her tree is decorated in brass musical instruments, an homage to her late Father. I think this quilt will make her very happy!

Perfect way to use up a panel in my stash

I bought this pattern as I have an adorable panel of smaller tiles in my stash that I have been storing for years, not knowing how to best display it to highlight each of the squares. As soon as I saw the vintage pattern on Youtube I had to get it as it seemed a simple sew yet a really effective way to show off each of the designs. I cant wait to get started as soon as I finish my current project.
