Shipping & Returns Policy

At Fabric Café, we strive to process and ship your orders quickly and affordably. 

Processing Time 

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). 

  • During sales or peak times, processing may take slightly longer. 

  • Preorders and backorders will ship as soon as available; estimated ship dates are noted on product pages when applicable. 

Domestic Shipping (U.S.) 

  • FREE Standard Shipping on orders of $99 or more. 

  • U.S. orders under $100 ship standard unless Expedited Shipping is selected. (Expedited Shipping is not free.) 

  • Standard shipping is via USPS, typically delivered in 5–15 business days. Delivery times may vary and can be longer during peak periods or due to carrier delays. 

  • Rates for USPS shipping are calculated at checkout and vary by destination and weight. 

  • Expedited shipping is available via UPS or FedEx and typically arrives in 3–5 business days. Rates are calculated at checkout and vary by destination and weight. 

  • Oversized or heavy items (such as batting or bulk orders) may incur additional shipping charges. 

  • USPS is the only option to ship to PO boxes or U.S. military/diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO, DPO). 

International Shipping 

  • We currently ship to Canada and select locations. 

  • Canada: shipping rates are calculated at checkout and vary by destination and weight. 

  • Other International Destinations: shipping rates are calculated at checkout and vary by destination and weight. 

  • International orders are shipped via the best available carrier. 

  • Customers are responsible for any tariffs, customs duties, taxes, or import fees assessed by their country. 

  • Delivery times vary and are typically 2–4 weeks. 

  • USPS is the only option to ship to U.S. military/diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO, DPO). 

Order Tracking 

  • Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. 

  • Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear in the carrier’s online system. 

Shipping Restrictions 

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes outside the U.S. territories. 

  • Some international countries may be excluded from service due to postal restrictions. 

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages 

  • Fabric Café is not responsible for delivery delays caused by carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout. 

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@fabriccafe.com or (903) 509-5999. Please include photos of the damaged packaging and item so we can assist you quickly. 

  • If your order appears delayed or lost in transit, contact us if it has been more than 15 business days since the shipping date. We will help you file a claim with the carrier and/or work towards a resolution.

  • Fabric Café, Inc. is a publishing company. The following copyright statement applies to all Fabric Café publications, books, and patterns: 

  • “No part of this pattern may be digitized or reproduced in any form (including scanning for laser cutting or any other purpose) unless given express written consent by Fabric Café, Inc. All designs, photographs, and images are protected by federal copyright law. All rights reserved.” 

Returns 

  • We want you to shop with confidence, and while most purchases are final, we’ll always make it right if something goes wrong. 

  • Every effort is made to ensure you receive top-quality, premium goods. 

  • If you receive a product that is defective, we will exchange the item or refund your money, at Fabric Café’s discretion. 

  • If Fabric Café ships the wrong item, we will cover return shipping costs and send the correct item at no additional charge. 

  • Returns are not accepted on fabric yardage you have cut, or on non-defective patterns, books, or other merchandise. 

  • We cannot allow returns or refunds on digital download products. 

  • Limited exceptions may be made at Fabric Café’s discretion (such as accidental duplicate purchases), provided items are unopened and returned within 30 days from the order date.
