Manor House is a beginner-friendly 3-yard quilt pattern designed to give those special fabrics the attention they deserve. Nine large 10" feature blocks are surrounded by a geometric, windowpane-style framework that creates an elegant gallery effect. Use 10" panel blocks or substitute running yardage for Fabric #1, which is also directional fabric friendly, then let simple strip piecing do the rest. With just three 1-yard cuts of fabric, Manor House makes it easy to turn a favorite panel or statement print into a striking 42½" x 53½" quilt.

Materials Needed

  • Quilt Top: Three 1-yard cuts of fabric
  • Backing Fabric: 3 yards
  • Twin-size batting
  • Thread to match fabric
  • Fabric should measure at least 42" wide after selvages are removed
  • Single-fold binding is included; add ½ yard for double-fold binding
  • ¼" seam allowance used throughout
